WHO I AM
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, trained at The Guild of Psychotherapists in London.
I adopt a pluralistic approach, integrating a range of theoretical perspectives, with particular emphasis on the works of Sigmund Freud, Jacques Lacan, Jean Laplanche, among others.
Originally a social anthropologist, I am particularly attuned to the ways in which culture, ethnicity, gender, and class shape psychological experience.
I have worked as an honorary psychotherapist at The Guild of Psychotherapists’ Low Cost Clinic. In addition, I have volunteered at The Listening Place and completed a psychiatric placement at the Highgate Mental Health Centre West, gaining valuable experience across diverse therapeutic and clinical settings.
I am a trainee member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and a student member of the Guild of Psychotherapists.

HOW I WORK
I offer long-term, face-to-face and online therapy.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are held weekly or more frequently.
I provide open, non-judgmental listening, guided by Freud’s concept of ‘evenly suspended attention,’ creating a safe and supportive space for reflection and personal insight.
My fees are variable depending on your individual circumstances and the frequency of sessions. The initial consultation is free, and fees will be discussed at that time.
I can conduct sessions in both Greek and English.
WHAT IS PSYCHOANALYSIS?
Psychoanalysis explores the unconscious – those drives, desires, fantasies, and thoughts that remain hidden from our awareness. Through analysis, these unconscious elements begin to ‘speak,’ gradually becoming conscious. This process can sometimes be uncomfortable or even painful, as it challenges our habitual ways of thinking and being.
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is a way of gently exploring and easing emotional pain. Struggles don’t always show on the surface – sometimes they appear as clear signs of distress, while other times they are hidden or even expressed through bodily symptoms.
These difficulties can take many different forms, such as ongoing low mood, intrusive or obsessive thoughts, challenges around intimacy, identity concerns, eating struggles, questions about sexual orientation, stress, anxiety, irritability, or anger. Whatever shape they take, they are all signs of inner suffering that can be understood and worked through in therapy.
